There are some notions that seem incomplete and can only be conveyed through a pidgin idiom.
Abeg- I beg/I plead/Please

Abi- Right/Yes/Yeah?

Dey- Is/Are/Am
(I dey here.)
Gbam- Confirmation/Agreement/Bingo!
(Gbam! Hot updo!)
Mtchew- Kissing teeth/Expressing disdain
(Mtchew, that shampoo stripped everything off my hair.)
Naija- slang for Nigeria
No Vex- Don't be upset/Don't worry
(No vex guys, details will be coming soon.)
O- Particle word/Serves as a filler or connector/Adds emphasis
(This is moisturizer is the best o!)
Sef- Particle word/inclusive/could be serious or jovial
(Me sef, I will look through the ingredients.)
Sha- Particle word/Serves as a filler or connector/Can begin or close a sentence/Anyhow/Anyways/If you like

Wan- Want
(I wan try it.)
Wetin- What
